Terms and conditions – Props4Parties
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that you are solely responsible for the hire items at all times throughout your hire, from delivery of the items until the items are collected.
Delivery 2 days before your event. We highly recommend we deliver at least 2 WORKING days before your event. This is incase there is a failed delivery or items are missing, it gives us time to sort the problem before your event.
Delivery Failure. No refunds will be given if the items are booked for delivery the day before the event and the delivery fails for any reason.
Check the contents To ensure there are no missing or damaged items you should check your props before your party. If there are any problems you need to contact us with time for us to deliver replacements –
Example: If your party is on Saturday night we need to know by 12pm latest on Thursday to get items delivered to you by Friday in time for your party.
Delivery and collection times. Deliveries are between 09:00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday unfortunately our couriers do not give a more accurate delivery time. We do not deliver on Saturdays.
National Couriers. We use national couriers like Parcelforce or TNT. The drivers will not transfer items across venues etc. They will unload the items within 10 metres of the delivery vehicle, but manoeuvring props beyond this is your responsibility.
Careful when moving. Some props are heavy and some box edges are sharp, take care when moving.
Collection is normally on the Monday / Tuesday after the event. If you need changes to the collection date you must give us minimum 2 working days notice to ensure we have time to cancel and rearrange with the courier. Any cancellation fees or charges will be passed on to you.
It is your responsibility to ensure all the items you have hired are returned to us. If items are left behind, it is your responsibility to return them to us as soon as possible, incurring any costs associated; including extended hire costs, if applicable.
No Hotel / Venue pickup. We do not collect from hotels or venues unless you are employed directly by them (please call if you need more information about this).
If we incur any charges in relation to missed deliveries / change of delivery day these charges will be passed on
These are hire items, please be careful in setting up / taking down and packaging the items. Both the items and the packaging are expensive to replace.
During the period the goods are on hire, you are solely responsible for the hired goods, not the reception, venue, hotel or any other third party until return and acceptance of goods back into the possession of Prop4Parties.
Breakages, missing parts & damages to items will be charged according to the full replacement value.
We accept fair wear and tear to our props as reasonably determined by us. But in the absolute worst case scenario, if we are unable to fix an item or an item is not returned to us please see below price list for replacement:
Backdrop Frame – £80
Backdrop – £180
Banner – £45
Gobo – £245
Red carpet – £60
Flight box – £150
Unless agreed by us in advance, all props are for indoor use only; any items used outside are done so entirely at the your own risk.

Plans sometime change.. No problem if you wanted to amend or cancel your booking, please see cancellation terms below:
More than 4 weeks before the event – 100% of payment refunded
4 weeks or less before the event – 75% of payment refunded
3 weeks or less before the event – 50% of payment refunded
2 weeks or less before the event – no refund
Extreme Circumstances / Force Majeure / Cancellation by Us
Whilst 99% of our bookings go to plan and everyone is happy, our props are very popular and sometimes the turnaround time means if an item comes back damaged we are not able to replace the item in time to get out for the next booking.
If this situation arrises, a suitable replacement will be made (ie similar item within the theme of your party) and you agree your booking will be fulfilled with alternative items.
We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances that make your hire unviable for us, up to and including the day of your hire. We are the ruling party on deciding if the hire is unviable and we will not be liable for any compensation or additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation, however a full refund will be issued.
Props4Parties Ltd reserves the right to alter or amend equipment if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
We endeavour to deliver exactly what you order, however if for any reason we are unable to full-fill the hire agreement through our fault (as deemed by us) then we will issue a full refund. No further liability will be taken by us nor will compensation be offered.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control.
You assume responsibility and liability for all hire items once they have been
All items are checked before and after hire and undergo regular maintenance. Electrical items are PAT tested.
We ensure that all props leave us in safe working order. It is your responsibility to ensure that all props are set up properly in a safe location.
Ensure that you read/watch the set up instructions and follow them carefully to ensure the props are safe and ready to use.
Props4Parties shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the use of any equipment under hire. All persons use our props entirely at their own risk. All electrical items should be tested by the client prior to use.
No signature is required in order for this contract to be deemed accepted and binding upon both of the parties. The contract shall be deemed accepted at the point payment is made for the your booking.
